🤖 Automated testing with the Auto Respondent
Does my interview ever end? How does Qualia include those additional themes at the end? How does Qualia manage critical or reluctant respondents?
Our Auto Respondent feature is here to help you see exactly that! It makes it easy to test how your interview works by simulating different kinds of respondents. Yes, an AI interviewer talking to an AI respondent!
s. Using the automation panel costs credits is now free!
You can adjust the personality of the automated respondent using the text instruction and/or by generating a randomised respondent personality using the Randomise button.
How to use it:
- Define the Bot's Personality: You can tell the Auto Respondent how to behave. Want it to be polite and concise? Or perhaps a bit more reluctant? Simply type your instructions into the "Personality / behaviour of the auto-respondent" text box. For example, you could instruct it: "Be a slightly skeptical but ultimately cooperative candidate." —> the auto respondent has a default description which you can use, or you can edit it the way you want
- Go Random: Not sure what persona to test? Click the "Randomise" button to generate a random personality for the bot.
- Select the amount of iterations (meaning how many messages the auto-respondent will send): Look at the testing panel above, click to agree to start the interview, then click the number of iterations you want and watch as the interview unfolds.
The Auto Respondent saves you time:
- Quickly checking the flow of your interview.
- Understanding how the interviewer adapts to different respondent styles
