📝 The Design & Test tab
The Design & Test tab is where you edit and test your interview.
- The engine icon: is the Interview Settings
- The ‘Edit’ button: Toggle this on so you can edit the interview settings and texts. This button will automatically toggle on once you click to edit one of the boxes in the Design & Test tab.
- The Save button: The green tick means your interview has been saved automatically.
- The ? button: is the tour to the Design & Test tab. Click on it to learn how to use the panel.
The Design & Test tab has different elements and boxes to help you design and test your interview. Click on the links below to see explanations and how-to guides to use each element/box:
- The Interview Settings: Adjust interview settings such as visibility and permissions
The edit boxes: These texts control the flow and content of your interview. The boxes expand when you click on them.
- The Description: Message shown to participants at the beginning
- The Greeting message: The first question participants will see
- The Instruction: Provide specific instructions for the interview
- The Farewell message: Message shown to participants at the end
- The Redirect box: Participants will be redirected to this URL after completion
- The Test panel: test your interview live (manually or with an auto-respondent)
